Gerri’s coaching and mentoring skills also extend to the development of her own leadership teams, many of whom are now successful executives in organizations across the United States.
Gerri holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Industrial and Labor Relations from the University of Cincinnati. She is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources and has served the Society for Human Resource Management at the local and national levels in leadership positions.  She is a graduate of Coach University and is a member of the International Coaching Federation.  Additionally, she is professionally trained in Equine Assisted Learning. 
Gerri’s passion for developing others  extends to her volunteerism.  She provides leadership at her church in outplacement training and career coaching to job seekers and has served on the Staff-Parish Relations Committee. She also teaches ESL (English as a Second Language).

Gerri Steadman, founder of Synergistic Coaching has over 15 years of experience as an executive coach, as well as extensive senior-level experience in human resources and organizational development.  With deep experience in healthcare, business, and not-for-profit organizations, she is an executive coach who develops leaders, teams and organizations, and helps them excel and achieve tangible business outcomes.

In addition to coaching, Gerri is often engaged by client companies to provide teambuilding and address cultural change.  Her expertise includes:  Building High Performing Teams, Creating a Culture of Engagement, Onboarding/Transition Coaching and Strategically Managing and Leading Cultural Change.
Gerri’s experience within organizations provides her with an in-depth understanding of the challenges executives face each day.  She realizes the challenges of deep change in today’s environment will require fine-tuning of strategic skills, leadership styles, and relational skills.   Gerri’s strength in coaching is meeting clients “where they are” and working with them to examine their leadership skills, behaviors and relational skills, resulting in greater future success. 

Gerri coaches executives from all functional areas in corporate, technical and clinical positions, as well as not-for-profits. She has had a breadth of experience in a variety of industries, including Entertainment, Production, Software Development, Healthcare Systems  and Physicians Practices.

She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, with a minor in public relations. She earned a Master of Science in Organization Development along with a Coaching Certificate from Queens University of Charlotte. She is a graduate of the Innovation Institute at the McColl Center for Visual Arts. As a life-long learner she attended The New School in New York City taking social and special interest classes. She is a fan of Coursera and the many options it provides.

She grew up in Hendersonville, NC. Spent six years in New York City and is happy to call Lake Wylie home today. Outside of work, she loves digging in the dirt, arranging flowers and spending time outdoors with friends and family.

From the day she landed on the planet, a sense of wonder, curiosity and adventure took over to drive Lynne’s actions. Her broad career interests are evident by her early choices. She was an animal trainer, nurse, firefighter, teacher, cowgirl, ballerina, tap dancer and baton twirler all before the age of six.

Lynne is fascinated with human behavior. She believes there is something to be learned from everyone. Often, the most challenging situations reap the most significant learning experiences. L
earning then becomes a new way of doing.

Her expertise lies in innovative solutions building on the strengths found within individuals and organizations. She has worked in leadership and organization development roles in the retail, wholesale and healthcare fields. Working with national brands such as: Tommy Hilfiger, Just Pants, Burt’s Bees, Vietri, Wet Seal, Carolinas HealthCare System and licensing agents for Kenneth Cole and Kate Spade. She brings a wealth of enthusiasm and energy to her work and loves learning alongside those that she serves.
