As a horse owner and enthusiast, I had an ah-ha one day in a riding lesson.  I was frustrated that my horse was not doing what I wanted her to do.  I suddenly realized that I was not communicating my intentions clearly.  As a coach, it became obvious that many lessons could be learned by interacting with horses.   

For ten years, I have been conducting workshops with leaders at all levels from all industries, including Army officers.  Utilizing a combination of assessments, management models and the team’s objectives, I design sessions for leaders desiring a more unique, impactful workshop. 

Through activities with the horses, they become a looking glass to reflect how we interact with others. In many learning experiences, you can learn new thoughts or ideas and experiment with new behaviors but with horses they provide unbiased, real-time feedback to increase your self-awareness.
